Bennie and Maggie were united in holy matrimony at Strangers Rest Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.  They would make their home there where both of their parents and siblings resided.  My mother had children from a previous marriage and my hero, my dad adopted them and raised us all as a family.  There were 6 of us from oldest to youngest was Anita Carol Jones, Vanessa Gale Jones, Rocky Eugene Jones, Tamma (me) Denise Jones, Bennie Joe Jones, and Geneva Marie Jones.

 

 

In 1963, when I (Tamma) was 2 years old, we relocated to "Big D" - Dallas, Texas.  We moved a couple of times until we landed in Oak Cliff, where my family resided and grew up.

My mom, Maggie Lee Fair Jones, passed on.  The family wanted to create an online memorial in her memory.  I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and condolences.
